In the Sun paper today there is a picture of it, when the photographer, down loaded it onto his computer there was an image of a girl at the window (which has no glass) I read the comments but hardly anyone believes it they mostly think it is a fake |

It has been derelict for quite a while. If the "ghost girl" does indeed exist, it is likely that she is a relatively modern spirit. The Sun photo is interesting, but I think in the electronic photo world it would be quite easy to fake. Then on the other hand . . . Picture by Mike Coates Here is the "Castles of Wales" webpage for the castle: http://www.castlewales.com/gwrych.html I haven't been there personally, but it does look like a very interesting ruin. Apparently, there is movement afoot to possibly restore all or part of the castle.

This site also allows the user to click on several "buttons" for a variety of information regarding the castle. It appears to be a very sad place with a not very happy history--almost as if it were cursed. |
