EARL has calmed to a category 3 and is only supposed to be causing some damage to the coastline. I hope it keeps weakening and they don't get much damage. Ron, thanks for the POE prayers. I think it has worked considering the hurricane is downgrading!! |

They are faring pretty well too. Here in Baltimore we are under heavy cloud cover so quite dark today but from the looks of radar I don't expect much participation. It sure is humid though! TS FIONA is way off the coast out in the ocean to stay there!! Ron, your prayers are a blessing. Thank you for thinking of all of us near the coast. |

I'm glad the winds are dying down - it was headed for Cape Cod and our Diana's not too far from the shore in Boston either. Do those hurricanes that go up the eastern seaboard fizzle out in the north Atlantic, or do remnants of them hit the British Isles?
