I live in northern Virginia near Washington DC. My absolute favorite TV shows are mostly British in origin. If they aren't being shown on public television, I find most of them on Netflix. Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse, Sherlock Holmes, Monarch of the Glen, Antiques Roadshow (the British version, not the American one), Cash in the Attic (ditto), As Time Goes By, Keeping Up Appearances, Last of the Summer Wine, Poirot, Miss Marple, Hetty Wainwright, Fawlty Towers, and the list goes on and on. As to American shows, I enjoy House (love Hugh Laurie), Big Bang Theory, Psych, and movies from the 1940s. |

It seems to have skipped a bit...started in the middle...not sure!! Do you have Netflix? I'll have to check to see if it's there! |

Murder on the Orient Express is another one (gotta love Angela Lansbury) in that one. I do watch House on occasion Hugh Laurie tells it like it is. Yep the list goes on and on.
