Initially a Free Trade association Brussels/Strasbourg are gradually gaining more and more power over various aspects of our lives. What has Europe done for us - absolutely nothing. Our Fishermen have lost their livlihoods, the Human Rights Act, which only benefits the criminal/terrorist/preacher of hate not the victim, taking more and more money from all member states with little clarity as to where/how it is being spent, wasteful spending on two Parliaments (one in Brussels and one in Strasbourg) and Euro MP's on a huge gravy train not having to produce receipts for much of their expenses. If most ordinary citizens can clearly see the obvious huge drain that this organisation has become on our purse strings why cannot those in Government.

They have signed a three year sponsorship deal with the owners of the wheel. It will now be officially known as EDF Energy London Eye from the latter part of January 2011. Mike, I thought we had agreed not to upset each other? Please remember, copied material is not acceptable on POE thus I have edited the content of your post! The EU will have too much power because of ownership and will end up effectively ruling Britain instead. I suppose it's one way of getting rid of Parliament!! lol They are building in their own obsolescence. They will become bio-degradable. LOL |

No import duty to the rest of europe. A space program. No more european wars. Jobs. Stronger data protection laws here and mainland europe, guaranteed. Stronger civil rights laws here and on mainland europe, guaranteed. A court to enforce those rights should the need arise. A ban on bent cucumbers. Hell the list goes on and on....... |
