In 2010 I entered a competition for a photo of the "Living Landscape" in AONB Cornwall (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) in conjunction with myCornwall magazine. Needless to say I did not get anywhere at all but thought all you POE people who love the photos of our land might appreciate seeing the winner. Here is the link, Ron and I tried to make it work at the weekend without success but hopefully it is up and running now.

That photo is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.  What a capture! Wow. The other three pics are also stunning.  Thanks for sharing the link Vince.

Those pictures are awesome.

There are some supremely excellent photographers on this website as well, and to put mildly some of the pictures posted are pure head turning. Wouldn't it be nice for that one in a million shot to be posted in the forums with a few lines to explaining how it was taken and the conditions it was taken in. My skills are somewhat average and it would certainly help my abilities no end.

Just an add on, the winner has won for himself a trip in glider over cornwall for the chance to take aerial photographs and the second place winner has won a a motor launch trip for four around The Carrick Roads, Nice.
