There are some good ones out there. I've been praying for this craziness to end. I think the ones who caused the damage should be put out there with brooms and dustpans to do the cleaning up and then pay restitution (in the form of labor in addition to humble apologies) to their neighbors, the hardworking small business owners whose businesses they trashed, burned down and stole from, as well as to the individuals they hurt and robbed.
