Especially the stuff that's produced in a tin bath out the back of the pub! MacAllan rools KO! And the Southwest is probably more affluent in many areas and has a slower pace of life than the rest of the country. Quite a lot of people retire there - fairly well off people i might add, lol! Don't have a real favourite but do like a drop of John Smiths. Boddingtons goes down quite well as does Sam Smiths. But I do like to try beers from the smaller breweries around. For such a relatively small area there is a very good choice in the Lake District, which is just one of the many reasons I like to go there. 2 weeks on Saturday and another weeks worth of daily trivia reports will be forthcoming |
