Ron.  You did not mention the railway !

You only said "stringent measures"  I was simply trying to ask you if you felt that a £33B railway would fit in your definition ?

Or, if we are that rich then why do we need savage cutbacks ?

Or, if we need his austerity years then where did he find £33B ?

Or, do we want a reasonable NHS or a rather pointless train ?

Or, why no complaints about past political threads ?

Yes I am from the wrong side of the track (track !!).

Thats me done.  I started this thread.  Well no, in a way I did not !!

Had enough, quit, England meant too much to me.

Going to join the other forum:

"Pictures Of England Sinking"

you get what you vote for !!!!!!!!!!! enjoy

Bye

Lots of questions there Mick and lets be honest England won't sink because of the act of either party. However, we all have different views and thats why we want to air them. No point in getting upset in a forum such as this, why not write to those who attempt to change England and reckon they know best.

Unfortunately, all this proves is that most discussions about politics (and religion) usually end in acrimony.

Probably something to do with experience of life and having seen it all before, Marjorie

Marjorie I certainly am not attempting to reprimand anybody, and don't really see how any of my comments could be taken that way. I'm sorry if you feel this way, but trust me, you really are mistaken so please don't read anything into whatsoever.

Presumably then, others feel the same way, but rest assured there is no way I am trying to reprimand anybody, just my opinion like yours. It's what the forum is for!

Like Edward says we have seen it all before so no worries dear friends!

I said that somewhat tongue in cheek Ron, so no worries at all.
