I know I've said it before, but what a great bunch of people we have here on POE and just because I don't like cats doesn't matter. Rick has lost a friend.

A doctor told a lady that to stroke a cat could lower her blood pressure.

I love cats myself and they can bring comfort also they are very knowing I remember our cat just tapped my son on the leg when he wanted to go outside,

Rick, check out this site called 'Gone too Soon'. You may remember, when my Merlin passed on I created this memorial to him. It was very therapeutic and I was touched by the support from others on the site. Let us know once you've created little Sara's memorial so we can pay our respects.

Rick I'm so sorry,  Pets really do leave a great void when they depart.  I will definitely pray for your grieving heart.  I remember a few years ago when I had to put my kitty down, and how comforted I was by our POE family.

Diana it's great to see you.  Hope you are well. I love the poem you wrote for Merlin.

Hi Rick, I know how you feel we had a cat for 18 years another for 16 years & a dog for over 10 years, we lost all 3 in the same year. I now have a 2 year old Boxer dog that does her best to keep me active.

Yes it is so heartbreaking to lose a pet because they are with you all the time and give you unconditional love. My old cat Marmalade went over the rainbow bridge the day of Dianas death and I still get a pang in my heart when I think of her. She was 21.
