Adding some threads to go out in a newsletter. This is the first, looking back at May's photos. Join in if you can and pick ones that really stood out to you.

You can just name it along with the photographer who took it .e.g The Doomsday Tree - By Cass, or you can post the picture itself by clicking the little tree icon 'insert/edit image' and then typing in the image ID number which you can obtain from the image info. Anyway, there were some very fine images from May 2019, but here's just a few of the ones that really caught my attention and the reasons why on some of them. You don't need to give a reason though if you don't want, just posting would be appreciated.

The Domesday Tree - Upleatham North Yorkshire

Loved this image by Cass, dark and foreboding but stunningly beautiful at the same time. Loved how it captures the gentle downhill descent, and i imagine an old cottage with an open fire at the bottom of this hill where this traveller, who's eyes we are seeing through, returns to before the sunlight disappears completely behind those distant hills.

I enjoyed this shot by Edward, mainly for the perspective and again the atmosphere which I found reminiscent of a classic scifi

I've realised that I haven't commented on all of the ones that I have just posted, so I shall be back to do that at some point.
