I tried to do post what I thought was the HMTL like it said. If it's allowed, I'll practice here and if it's not OK, then I hope there is a delete button the administrators can use.

This is IMG

Hi

Sorry about all this! I'll get the whole posting of images sorted in due course. There is one sure way of posting them in the forum however, and that's by uploading them to the site first, then using the 'insert/edit image' button from the forum toolbar (to the left of the smiley face) and typing in the Poe image ID. See post here: http://www.picturesofengland.com/forum/Recent_Updates_&_Announcements/1105

Our plan is to scrap the whole system of 'approving' images, so that any image uploaded goes live straight away. The difference will be that new members will have to be 'approved' first. Once approved, a member will be able to upload images and see them go live instantly, without any wait, and they'll have full control over their own images (edit/rotate/delete/change image location etc)

We'll try and make it so that approved members get to post off-site images in the forums too!

All this work should be commensing very soon. Please be patient and we will try and get the site working much much better for you all Smile

By the way, all existing members with images on the site will automatically be approved when the new system is put in place.

Many thanks again for your patience

Thanks again poe. For now I will just upload them to the site as I doubt I'll be posting anything that is not related to this wonderful site Smile.
