I certainly would be upset if I thought that someone was using my little photographs and would feel a need to express my hurt. I am still considering using watermarks, once I get home and work out how to use my photoshop. I know my pictures are nothing to crow about (or if you see my last submitted picture, I should say rook about) but they are still mine.

I, like you all want my copyright protected and I think Chris and Sarah have proved that they are not going to take any nonsense when it comes to matters of this kind and therefore they acted promptly. Further, I have every confidence in their response, as have you by way of your earlier post, so lets all feel safe in the knowledge that they are working for us, to protect the copyright in our photographs but that sometimes, just sometimes things can go wrong that may not be of their doing! Hence, my earlier comment that a quiet email from the member contact form from within the site would have been more appropriate. |

They are so easy to clone out, and you wouldnt even know they were there to start with. I know, I have done it myself, just to prove how easy it is. If you keep the original photo on your computer, complete with the exif info, you have all the proof you need that you are the photographer. |
