How on earth do I make them smaller? I'm so dense, It's obvious that I need to learn how to use the computer as well as the camera. |

In mine, I go to the drop down menues, Image, image size, and make sure that "maintain aspect ratio" is ticked, this is very important. If you dont tick the box, the photo will only be resized on the edge that you chose. You should have measurements in pixles and inches or centemeters. You just reduce the size from there. To make sure that you dont alter the original photo, save as (new name) to a separate folder. That way you still have the original in your photo file. If you havnt got an editor, you can download "Irfanview" for free. Just google it. I think with Irfanview you alter the size in percenages. Good luck and let me know how you get on. Hope iv'e explained that in a way that you can understand. |

That will resize your photos too, though I can't vouch for the quality as I've never used it for that purpose. |

What I did I couldn't tell you beyond plonking a few numbers in a box and crossing my fingers. I must take a class. So thank you Peter, your instructions were perfect (though I couldn't find a 'maintain aspect ratio' any where. And thank you POE, I'll keep Paint in mind if I can't figure our Photoshop. |
