I use NTL cable, but since Virgin took over I have a heck of a problem downloading stuff. I have to keep on refreshing. When posting on POE, I have to wait for a heck of a time before it goes through. I then have to go to my pictures to make sure its there. If I do that too quick, I only get half a photo show up as well.I also make sure that my file size is small enough, but the file size dont seem to make any difference. They are a pain - I used to be with Wanadoo (Freeserve) before the dreaded Orange took over! I haven't changed for years but this problem has only happened since Saturday. I've even cleared all my cookies etc but no joy. Hope that I will be able to sort this out or no more photos from me! |

It is slower now than it was before. I have dowloaded a program called Download Accelerator and that has speeded up my downloads by 4 times the speed, but it dont help uploads unfortunately. The good thing about that program is, it works and its free. |

LOL I used to use Dowload Accelrator too many moons ago. Uploading pics to POE is still slow here sometimes, but then again I do upload the original size I took them in, which is always huge! and that does make a difference! |

The bigger the population using the web the slower the internet. I know that BT has problems, the further you are away from the exchange the slower it is. |

The limit has been raised slightly as the one stated on the upload form was incorrect at 4.99, and was in fact 4.77MB. The site should now take 5MB images. Let us know how you get on, and once again sorry for the inconvenience caused. Chris & Sarah |
