I have now joined and am unable to and my avatar. It states the image has to be jpg or gif. How do I change as my images are jpeg.

They can take a while Mike and 'jpg' and 'jpeg' are the same just to clear that up....which is why your avatar eventually appeared

Richard --it takes a while to change -what i do is log off and after a short time your new avatar should appear. good luck.Smile

Yes, I think the logging off is generally a good idea, but the same should be effected by refreshing the page. That said, have you emptied the internet cache lately Rick?

I know I bang on about this from time to time, but it's normally what stops the new avatar showing.
