People struggling to make ends meet shouldn't have to donate. Edited by: Ken Marshall at:5th April 2013 00:13 |

But again we come back to that word DONATION as opposed to SUBSCRIPTION.....2 very different meanings......... Capping the limit of images which can be uploaded by basic members is i believe still on the cards and could be put forward as a BENEFIT of the premier membership but as has been discussed previously...where do you set the limit. 5 a day, 10 a week??? Another site I have a few pics on, only 50-60 i think, only allows 1 upload a day to 'basic' members and not much more to paid up members i think. But as has been said on numerous occasions a very difficult line to draw. |

I don't have an answer to this problem. Maybe an upload limit ?, I think the free Flickr account lets you upload so many MB per month, and then only displays your most recent 200 pictures, unless you pay for the Pro account then it's unlimited. Then there is the big difference between donation and subscripton - not an easy answer. |

Just wanted to let you know that these posts are being read by Chris and Sarah and the suggestions made are being considered, but there are issues to resolve regarding who, what and when so to speak. As for the B&W Dave (Thinks.....trust him to notice! lol) There is another very good reason for accepting them now, one that hopefully Chris and Sarah will be able to refer to soon. Thanks also to those who have donated, know that your 'Gold Stars' are not far away. |
