He does not listen To a word I say, He's full of stubbornness And plays in the mud anyway. I know he's just having fun How can one stay mad, It breaks my heart When I see him sad. I hose him down With the water hose, It's funny to see him With mud solidly covered from head to toe. He has a good time As he just wants to play, He is my darlin' son What else can I say. She's like him alright Smartelick, as can be, She gets my blood pumpin' As she gets to the best of me. She gets me so mad I feel my head will explode, I did pray for this As I shake my head, I know, I know. She has his beautiful Huge, brown eyes, Deep down I'm glad she's like him ---This is no lie. I see him in her In little thing's she does, It always makes me grin As I have taught them who "Uncle Autry" was. Jeannie 5-23-09 1:45 p.m.(9 Mins.) I maybe driving down the road & it come to me For I have done this for mom to, We never know when? or why? For what reason, time, day or night, or for who? We just know we are to write What God gives us you see, I want to thank all my POE friends For encouraging me. Jeannie age 37 5-23-09 1:31 p.m.. |

He's gentle like a breeze On a cool sunny day, When the air is not so humid As the children laugh & play. He's calming like the rain As it taps on a tin roof, To the children it would be A kittens meow, a puppies woof, woof. For when we were little As we wished upon a star, God knew all along What we needed in our hearts. This new love you see Could be 1 of 2 things, It could be the love of a man or woman Or, the new love of Christ, and the joy he brings..... Sometimes we share God's love, and it is reflected from each one of us to the other, and sometimes we don't realize it. So my friend you know who you are: this one is for you. Love, U'r J.P. |

I will bbe typing from the library so my time on the computer is limited, so I won't be able to talk with any of you just yet. I will be placing a few of my poems that I wrote during Father"s day, but was unable to post them in time, as we went on vacation. I have met a wonderful man, so far he is being very true and honest with me. He wants me to marry him, but I am not ready yet, so he has accepted that we are boyfriend and girlfriend. Everyone knows what I went through with Paul, so I am being very cautious in this relationship. He keeps reassuring me he is not like him, put I still want to be as safe as possible. He has asked for no money, he simply keeps telling me he want s to love me and be with me, that love is not about money, or how much you have. I have been praying about it, and asking God to guide me, his name is Seth. Just so no one goes in shock, prepare yourself, he is from Africa, so now you know why I was and still am/very cautious, he is showing me himself on a webcam, so I know it is him. He is very sweet and polite, and answers all my umpteen questions. he calls me everynight. I am hoping for the best. We are both saving so he can come to the states, as it will cost $3,000.00 so it will take us a while. He already works 12 hours shifts. Remember he doesn't want any money. I hope everyone is doing well. I will check in from time to time, but will post a poem as soon as possible. I asked him why he wanted to come to america, he said ,, he has a white heart, and he wants to marry a white woman, as his brother is marrying a white woman. I am taking this relationship slow, as best I can. My excitement gets to the best of me, as I really feel he is the one. But only time will tell. I feel I am falling in love with him, and he with me. I send ya'll my love, love Jeannie |

I am glad to know that you may have found somebody to love, and indeed be loved in return. Your poems show us exactly what you're life is, or has been about, your faith also. Keep up the good work and don't forget to start writing that book! |

Love takes time to grow and you should at least meet this man in person and spend some time together before you take his words to heart. 2. Wanting to marry a "white woman" because his brother is, is a pathetic excuse for asking a woman to marry you. Be sure he isn't after a green card. 3. If he really wants to be with you he'll find a way to pay for the trip without taking money from you. Don't send him any money! |
