Sue, you heard the same ones I did!  The way I heard the hand itching one was if the right hand itched you would meet someone new and if the left one itched you would be receiving money.

I grew up totalling believing the one about not telling your dreams before breakfast.

I've noticed that the "coming in threes" thing seems to often apply to hearing about celebrities or famous people passing away.
