I also lost an American Columbus Gibson copy worth £1000, and a synthesiser along with my recording gear. They must have had a lorry to take it away. I lost all interest in music after that. By the way Ruth, I was not upset with you on the Raw post. But someone else got up my nose. So please, dont think that I was talking about you. I dont mind friends in here taking the mickey out of me, I know its not meant. But to have someone that I dont know telling me how I should wright, on a post that was intended as information for Richard, who asked a question, I thought was out of order. Now ive got that off my chest, where's that Ron? I'm ready for him. |

I know you weren't mad at me. The reason asked how long ago you were robbed was becaise I just wanted to encourage you to not give up on music, just because you had a bad turn of luck. The gear you lost - it's only "stuff," after all, regardless of its worth, pound wise. But if you have a gift for music and know how to play (I wish I did), you should start up again. |

I was taught by my father to play guitar. He played with Kenny Ball and his jazzmen years ago. I played with the swinging blue jeans for a while, then the dominators, the ramblers and one of the best jazz bands in the south of england, white swan. I also sat in with Russ Conways first record as a session guitarist, just him and me playing. |
