Whoever's in will give with one hand and take with the other, so no-one wins. The minute any of them give a brown thing for the general public, instead of themselves, is the minute that this country gets better. Whatever have we done to deserve it? I'm spending £25.00 per van more on fuel every time I fill up (every day!!), and the shopping bill has shot up lately, as has gas, electricity and everything else you care to mention. This global warming (hardy ha) is to blame they reckon. How can you vote for anyone who believes in such rubbish?????? Bring on the bloody warming, it's the middle of May and the central heating's on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Recently I had a look at our local paper's online forum and everyone is sick to death with the way the country is going, one way or another. This can surely be multiplied by the thousands if not millions whose voices are being ignored. Bring on the revolution!! (In my dreams) |

I reckon they should give up and admit defeat lol |

Not being from there, I can't really comment, but at least you have this wonderful site to chill with..... I'm not an eternal optimist, but when I feel like getting all weirded out about the state of (fill in the blank - economy, tax, pollution, trash TV, pore ol me, whatever) I think about history.....one of the reasons I love it over there. I think those of us who were born in the UK or the US in the latter half of the 20th century, have it better than 99% of all the people who ever lived or will ever live. And most definitely better than at least 90% of the people alive today. Sorry to be so optimistic on a page meant for venting and probably sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong, but, as Forest Gump said, . |
