Peter, I have only just spotted this post informing us of your holiday in Cambridge and your wife's retirement. I hope she enjoy's every minute of it, but I don't really see how that can happen as she will have to endure you for so many more hours a week. As for the reason you are going to Cambridge rather than Oxford, well it's quite obvious isn't it? You are afraid to come to Oxford in case I find you!!

Enjoy your break Peter, and we look forward to hearing from you on your return, take care mate!

Only 350 pictures, Peter, what's wrong with you?  I went bird watching last Thursday and took 135 pictures in a three hour period (100 of which were deleted because they were rubbish).

When I get back from England I hope to put POE on overtime, and promise to not just to take pictures of birds.

Thats what is good about digital cameras, for every hundred you take you can delete the  99 that aren't any good and it wont cost you a penny! LOL

You are right Lyn, so once you get over the initial thousand pounds, it won't cost a penny.

Anyone want to buy my old darkroom equipment? I dont use it anymore.
The initial cost of digital is high, but then it gets so much cheaper. Uness of course you try to print your own photo's, thats when you find that the prints bear no relationship to whats on the screen. I have wased so much paper and ink, it has cost me a fortune. I never wasted that much when I printed from negatives.
