I know exactly how you feel Lyn, and there are many hundreds of thousands, millions no doubt, who feel the same way also, so why can't we change it? Isn't this the very point? The local big gobs agree to become a councillor who will fight your every cause, and before you know it there b....y head has grown to twice the size, and soon they are sat in Government earning obscene amounts of money for doing b....r all! Suddenly, their whole attitude to the Parish Council where they started out, and the electorate of course is down the Swanee!! Makes me b....y sick! Revolution or the BNP has to be just around the corner, for things cannot carry on the way they are now!!

Oh well said Lyn!! Me too.

I suppose this is the point when all the British POE members start reading the newspaper or examining their fingernails.

Shock horror! I hit the BNP site out of sheer frustration and it was like a breath of fresh air and a piece of sanity in this demented country. And just read about the things that are going on that the BBC never reports.

I've just done the same Sue. I would urge everyone to have a look. Perhaps there is hope after all. They're not loonies, take the time to find out what they stand for and how they will do it.

''We are particularly keen that readers should take a careful look at the image because it features a young lady parading in spectacular costume under a banner reading “Dominica”.

So, we ask: Why is it deemed acceptable to celebrate the cultures of other countries on the streets of Bradford (Dominica in this case?) - when it evidently is not acceptable to celebrate Englishness? After all, wasn’t Bradford built by generations of English working people? Wasn’t it Bradford and other centres of English culture, that the Bradford Pals went to war to defend in 1916?

Not to put too fine a point on it, when is Bradford’s obstructed St. George’s Day pageant and parade going to be allowed to progress unhindered through the streets of the city, with its St. George’s flags held proudly aloft, in a celebration of Englishness?

When Hell freezes over presumably! ''

I also just had a look at their website Andy, and doesn't it say exactly what most of us are saying? Looks like we need to pay them lots more attention, so here is the link to their website if you feel you want to help resolve matters http://www.bnp.org.uk/

I found this rather interesting too! It's the Alexa ratings showing how popular the various political parties are when it comes to the net. Wow, could it mean that there is going to be a huge shock at the next General Election?
