I will never forget the first real book I read, A kid for two farthings. Dont know who by, but they did make a film of it too.

Peter--It was by Wolf Mankowitz and made into a film in 1955. Wolf Mankowitz also later wrote the draft of the Bond film Dr. No but asked his name be removed as he didn't want to be associated with something he thought was going to be a big flop.

Angels and Demons is a good book.

I'm reading Blood sweat and tea, at the moment, but i'm sure its not everyones cup of tea!! Smile

I have a heap of books to read but end up never getting round to it!!! sleep is more important!! Laughing

Natterjacks have a very loud and distinctive mating call, amplified by the single vocal sack found under the chin of the male animal.
