I know lots of countries drink all different types of tea, mint tea is lovely made with fresh mint, and there 's loads more, but it seems England is the only place we drink black tea, with milk and sugar? and people seem to say one thing they miss about england is a nice cup of tea!?  just a thought while i'm sitting here with my cup of tea!! Smile

You might just be surprised Jason. I very much doubt that the nice cup of tea you're drinking is English. I don't remember seeing many, if any, tea plants on my travels around Blighty....but were I to drive around India or Sri Lanka I would definitely see plenty. We're very strange in this country, we all say a good old cup of English tea....in reality there's no such thing! Oh to be an all conquering empire again. Not!!

I love tea.  I just some tea sent to me from Australia.  It was awesome!! We have an really great tea shop in town and they have loads of tea!  Milk and sugar in black tea is the best way for me...green tea is good alone.  No sugar!

I love tea too Krissy.  But Jason is right, I had my first decent cup during my first vacation to London more than 20 years ago now. I'll never forget it, I was a Browns Hotel and drinking Earl Grey (still the only tea I drink) with milk and raw sugar. Yum!

Juice, water and orange squash. If I want a hot drink I have hot squash! I was allergic to milk as a baby and child so I never really got into black tea and coffee.

I only drink black coffee. I cant remember the last time I drank tea. My grandmother used to make a tea out of stingynettles though. Just a touch of sugar, and it was nice. Also, it is good for you with plenty of iron for your blood.
