Those are really great pictures. Those castles are definitly going to be on my shortlist since they comply with the sort of places I'm looking for.

Thanks again (and everyone else too so far). I am shure this site is going to get me what I hoped for.

BTW Ruth, I'm not shure but do you wear glasses in that avatar of yours? Just curious.

Oh, yes, Cor.  LOL!  I wanted everybody to see how I really look and I'm about useless without my reading glasses, so there they are!

Hi everyone.

Well, I'm busy to get all the information structured. I don't want to plan the whole trip from A to Z but I am getting a pretty good idea for the first 2 or 3 days.

It's not just about the castles but also about transportation (I don't have a car so it is going to be by train and busses) and places to stay the night.

Maybe I'll try to cut costs and try to hitchhike on the beach of Holland to get to England. You never know, it just might work ;)

I thought I'd take the Eurostar for the trip back home but that is going to cost me about 183 English pounds. I think I will pay in that currencie since it is 230 euro's and that sounds much more ;)

They say that planning your trip is half the fun and.... it is...

BTW Ruth, are you Hillary Clinton's sister (the dark-haired version of ?)?
