Does any other country have speed humps??  Just been out in my van, and driving through a village near here had to negotiate loads of speed humps!! my van is lowered so it hurts, scrapes nearly every one!

Apart from that it was a nice drive! Theres a place called Merevale hall near here, i just passed it, it looks like draculas castle perched on a hill, its a fantastic looking building, privatley owned i think though, i'd love to take a look round!! Smile

We have load and loads of them Jason.  Here in New England we also have some of the worse roads in the nation due to snow plows which tear holes in the asphalt during the winter. They never seem to get round to fixing them.Yell I can't tell you how many times I have threatened to sue the city if I should end up with a flat tire.LOL!

Oh yes...we have them in our development!  The speed limit is 20 mph but they still had to put the humps in because of all the teens who drive like morons!!  Yell

I hate speed humps. BUT, I wish they would put them down my road. The road is very narrow, parking on one side only. That leaves just enough room for cars to get past, It is one way only so the idiots drive down at 40 to 50 mph. I have had to replace the rear view mirror 3 times because it got knocked off. I am not the only one. There have been three kids knocked over on the road so in this case I can put up with them. Why is it that they get put in where they are not nessesary?.

I don't mind them to be honest. Jason, if you get hurt it means you are going too fast; that's the ultimate warning of a hump ;-)
