Just been out in my van, and driving through a village near here had to negotiate loads of speed humps!! my van is lowered so it hurts, scrapes nearly every one! Apart from that it was a nice drive! Theres a place called Merevale hall near here, i just passed it, it looks like draculas castle perched on a hill, its a fantastic looking building, privatley owned i think though, i'd love to take a look round!! Here in New England we also have some of the worse roads in the nation due to snow plows which tear holes in the asphalt during the winter. They never seem to get round to fixing them. The road is very narrow, parking on one side only. That leaves just enough room for cars to get past, It is one way only so the idiots drive down at 40 to 50 mph. I have had to replace the rear view mirror 3 times because it got knocked off. I am not the only one. There have been three kids knocked over on the road so in this case I can put up with them.
