Good luck and try not to worry. You could always just go to hospital and tell them you think you have a blood clot and don't want to wait. That might make them get you in sooner. |

It was really fascinating. They gooped me from the top of my thigh right down to the ankle, and ran the Doppler down what I presume was main artery (or vain, what is the difference Jason?). Then at intervals they made me contract my stomach muscles, then release, and when I released you could hear my blood whooshing. Wish they had let me see the screen . Of course they wouldn't say anything, but will send the results to the Doctor. I'm not too concerned, I still think it's just muscle pain. (Hopefully that wasn't too much information ) |

Even when you are off your foot try to move it around and stretch your leg. This happens to people on long flights. When still too long the chance for a clot goes way up. You'll be fine. |

Like you she was concerned about a blood clot and took her self to the emergency room and had them look at it. Turns out it was only a sever muscular thing. No blood clot. I know you can't help but worry but I am sure it's nothing serious. |
