Rent-a-Pigeon, did I miss something Alan?

You must have Ron.  The remark went over your head, because that's exactly where you'll find it - one page up (or forward if you like).

We're certainly helping the financial crisis are'nt we?  All the cards that are being bought and posted around the world must be helping secure jobs, even if it's only in the postal delivery sector (I understand that 'postman' isn't very PC, but then my computer's not much of a PC either) lol

It's not what I call them either, Lyn, but that's not repeatable in polite company!   Which is not so surprising considering the trouble they cause me through their failure to deliver correctly addressed mail to me.  I do get, as some sort of a consolation prize, mail for many people in the village who do not, and never have, lived at this address, which has been my family home for almost 40 years now.

Apparently we have a postie from France, and this seems to be at the root of our troubles.  Not to suggest that he doesn't know his numbers, he's very good actually: 'Une... deux... trois...'  Now if only we can teach him the english equivalents!
