I forget the bad things and only remember the good. Then I can say I had a good life, even if its not strictly true.

Hi Krissy, sorry it took me awhile to comment. Elsie's been home sick today and I couldn't get to the computer. I hope all goes well for your sister. What a great adventure.

I remember being 19, 29 years ago. Smile 60's TV was great. Remember Jack Benny, The Honeymooners, Ed Sullivan, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, George Burns?

Those were the day! Oh and don't forget the Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, the Little Rascals. Kept ya laughing for hours

I couldn't agree more Lyn. What I would like is about 50 more years of being fairly young with all the knowledge I have now, but I wouldn't want to go back if going back meant that I'd have to live those years over the same way again; as you say, too much heartache. I can honestly say that right now is the best time of my life and I am enjoying it!

I agree Peter.  But although I live in the present (very much so) I aso still enjoy basking in the good memories I have of days gone by, even though some of them are almost certainly viewed through rose coloured specs.  Bad memories are far too painful to endure, so I try to keep them shut out, and if I can manage to find plenty of good things to occupy my time, I'm generally successful.

That's a good outlook on life girls,  lets try and be grateful for what we have, some poor souls have nothing. Live life to the fullest and try to enjoy it and be happy, for who knows what tomorrow may bring.Smile

I agree whole heartedly.

We can't change the past, so lets look back at the good time, forget the bad. Look forward to a good furture and enjoy the moment.

And Alan, love your new avatar.
