Hi everyone! Such great choices.

Ruth - one of my favourite films is Braveheart too - I saw it first at Manns Chinese Theatre in LA in 1995 - everyone was cheering when the English got killed and Terry had an English Rugby shirt on - I thought we were going to get beaten up!!! Mel Gibson is great - he's the younger Tony Curtis I think.

I remember Daktari Catherine!

Bud Abbott & Lou Costello;  the only non-sports figures honoured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Three Stooges--- at various times: Larry Fine, Joe DeRita, and brothers Moses, Samuel, and Jerome Horowitz/Howard.

Wow, that must have been weird, Stephanie.  The English were the bad guys in Patriot too, and Mel Gibson's character's son (played by the late Heath Ledger) died in the movie too.  Very sad, all the war movies.  Too bad they're not just made up.

I vaguely remember Daktari, Cathy.

And Paul, I agree, the three stooges were the greatest.

What is weird Ruth is I was watching Braveheart last night! I loved Heath Ledger - what a sad loss. The Patriot is a great film too but very sad.

I like all Mel Gibson's movies, Stephanie, and the Martin Riggs ones are great too.  I'm not real crazy about the Mad Max ones though.

Nor me Ruth - I found the 1st Mad Max too upsetting. Like most of his others though. Terry collects films so we have lots of choice!

I'm going now too - I'm so tired! Night Ruth!

Steph, his death was tragic!  I too felt a terrible loss when I heard about it.  When my brother (who is coincidentally also named Heath) was Ledger's age he looked just like Ledger, so I think subconsciously, it felt almost like losing a brother.

Did you see him in "The Dark Knight"? He was phenomenal!
