How about the "Briton Lights" for an new TV series staring "Krissy Jason and Company"...then they could show us their best "light" humor talent. As I said, I'm teaching my parrot to say.. Chicken crossed the road!...chuckle chuckle, (which he's very good at doing)...BAM!!!...BAM!!...chuckle chuckle...I know, I'm pathetic. but it's funny when he says it...I guess because he startles you..you expect him to say something like your ordinary parrot would say..like..."hello"

LOL, Wolf.  My friend has an African gray who tells the cat to scat.

The British sense of humor is great because it's often very subtle.  I can't tell you how many times, I've been part of a conversation here and after a posting thought ????.  But then after going back and reading it again, it made perfect sense.  You know, the lightbulb finally goes on, and all.  lol

What do y'all think about us clowns over here?  (Dare I ask LOL) Laughing

I am sorry to say Ruth, allthough you yank gang on Poe are the greatest, ( you have probably picked up a bit of UK humour) I don't think much of the USA shows on TV. The humour (supposed) is too forced, and not natural. IMHO.

A friend has an African Grey parrot. He'd went out forgetting a pan on the cooker was still on. Eventually his smoke detector went off and the fire brigade was called by one of neighbors. He arrived home to see the truck outside, and the firemen in his living room listening to his parrot repeating--It's all right;  It's all right; it's all right.........Smile
