Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | For me it would have to be a log cabin with a big open fire in the Swiss alps, by day all that fresh air and beautiful scenery would be amazing , and at night snuggle up in front of the fire with a nice glass of wine listening to carols, no TV, no telephone, and no computers, a nice dream but in reality I will be clearing up the discarded wrapping paper and slaving over a hot cooker just like every one else. |

Not much chance of that happening either. Just looks like another lonely stressful Holiday this year. Some day my dreams will come true. At least I have that to look forward to! |

That being the case, and assuming I had about six thousand pounds to do it right, I would grab my sister and high tail it to England where we would spend at least least two full days in London (shopping at Harrods!!!). After that we would make a mad dash around to visit as many of our POE friends as possible. Finally, we would settle down in an English castle/hotel for the actual holiday. |
