I got your lovely cards yesterday, Lyn B.  Thanks!!  I love the artist card that you sent them in too, truly lovely (Mig Hurley).  Her painting reminded me a little of your photos.  When my husband saw the card from Norwich Cathedral, he said, "Is there any town over there without a cathedral?"  And the Norfolk Broads - I'm guessing that broad is a term meaning something like a broad, flat wetland?!?

Thanks again, Lyn!

Yes Ruth, the Norfolk Broads are  man made waterways, years ago used to transport goods by wherry but nowadays they are used purly for leisure, we have lived in Norfolk for almost 18 years but I only hired a boat and went out on the broads earlier this year for my birthday, it was great fun even though I am scared to death of water. I don't think there are many places here that don't have a catheral, we have 2 in Norwich, the church of England one and the Roman Catholic cathedral, oh and we also have hundreds of churches. Smile

I already have plans, Lyn.  I'm thinking we'll do our week in Ireland by flying round trip Luton to Dublin.  Then when we come back into England, we pick you up and take you wherever we go.  Broaden your horizons at the Norfolk Broads.  Eww, ouch.  Foot in mouth  LOL

Just in case that didn't come across right, I was making fun of my lame, corny joke, not the Norfolk Broads.  LOL
