Bearing in mind that we are forever trying to inform the public of this fabulous POE website and forum, might the standard message on the back of the postcard read POSTCARD SWAP - www.PicturesOf England.com with a signature of the sender for example?

It will be read all over the world throughout it's journey and POE may pick up even more members!

Just a thought...

Or maybe just a signature for the eventual day that one of us becomes famous, and it can then be sold for a fortune at auction! Lol

C'mon POE members what are your thoughts?

Who want's to think on the weekend Ron - give us a break! LOLSmile

I have sent a possible stick on label, on the lines of your suggestion above, to all Postcard Swappers and asked for their opinions.  So I'm now looking forward to some feedback. Undecided

Oh I forgot to mention I went out today and managed to find postcards of a town only 10km away, so I will be sticking the stamps on and sending them out soon.

Hey, Peter, the hens teeth might have been easier to find, lol

Hi Cathy and Ron:

I have a bunch of postcards that I bought for the last go-round but never sent.  I just have to order some international stamps, so it may be a few days before I can get them mailed.

Well, only if we want to have a race and see who's got the best and fastest postal service!  lol

And you guys would have me at a definite disadvantage with the time difference and all.  :-)

Actually, the last time, we also answered all the cards with subsequent cards, then Christmas cards.  It was a lot of fun.  That's why I've run out of international stamps.

In that case I had better post mine soon - and it might still get dumped on a ship instead of airmail.  It wouldn't be the first time!!

Nice avatar Ruth!  Bit closer this time, lol

How is everyone doing with their postcards & stamps??  I am hoping to post mine off tomorrow, because it will probably take longer than all of yours (with our third world postal service).
