Thanks Cathy. I agree - it's his brother I'm concerned about. They have lived together all their lives, looked after their mother til she died and neither ever married or had girlfriends so they only had each other. I've been speaking to him today and it was really sad.

Hi Krissy. I am good.

Sorry to hear about that Steph.  I have a friend whose two brothers live in Florida together. Both have only one friend who is dying of cancer. Both brothers have glaucoma and macular degeneration. They both are almost blind. My friend has a hard time taking care of herself. I don't know how she is going to manage taking care of her brothers.

Yes it is a worry when people have no other relatives and sometimes you have to be hard or you end up making your own life a misery.

 These two were only in their 60's. It was a sudden death.
