World Series Baseball anyone?

LOL!  They are a tough crowd those football fans!! It can get really scary sometimes!!! Talk about loyalty!!

The World Series is on Channel 5 tonight at 1:05. But, my baseball days go back a bit to the era of Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Roger Marris, Sandy Koufax, Stan the Man, et al. Channel 5 also covers US football and my favourite, ice hockey.  Preferred the days Channel 4 covered US football as they had Frankie Goes To Hollywood's  Two Tribes  as their theme tune, which worked pretty good with football footage.

Ah Paul...that's when baseball was great..and honest!!  Which hockey team do you like?

Hi Krissy----for years it was the Toronto Maple Leafs, then I defected to the Boston Bruins, then latterly to the Colorado Avalanche.  One of my high school teachers in Winnipeg gave up teaching to play for Minnesota; probably paid better I suspect. Then in the summers of the 60s, used to play in the baseball peewee league. If I recall right, one of the guys in our high school also played in the major league after graduating.  I'll have to look him up agian.

Baseball!! we call it rounders over here and noooo I never watch it. It's the game kids play at school lol
