I missed the one we had up here a while back. I was asleep...the rest of the household felt it though. Apparently we have hundreds every year but most are too small to notice. 3.6 is enough to get your attention though by the sound of it Sue.

I felt that one, it was really eerie! Lasted a few seconds but felt like a lot longer.

Well, this morning I've seen all the earthquakes in your area for years, as we have an kind of historian that posts such stuff...the highest you ever had was in the early 1930's  and was an 6.1..you have usually once in 18 years one quake in the 5 mag. range and one in the 3 or lower every 1-11/2 years. Yes, you had an small quake, for the most was an "bump" feel or it rattled shelves, but no damage reported...no injuries. Lucky people. Thanks for answering. Only place I could find it was on the world-wide "alert" map they recently came out with to "keep in the know" with what's going on world-wide as it happens...but it took someone else bringing our attention to it then.

Wolf, how can I cause an earthquake? I am only 8 stone. He he he.

Didnt hear about an earthquake, but they do have mini tornadoes in north Wales sometimes. Usualy around Snowdon. They dont affect anybody though because the area is so sparsely populated.
