People are starting to come "unglued" with the election coming Tuesday, and I mean things are flying fast an furious politiically over here right now...how's things going in England? I would tell you more but I don't know who to believe any more.

To get back to the original thread, I really dont know enough about all this to comment Shirley, but the US news regarding it is plastered all over our screens here, so it's hard to avoid at times.

Ditto everything Lyn said, Shirley. You would think it was Britain's election not the US that was in the offing. But I suppose that's because whoever gets in will effect us, and the whole world.

You are so right Sue, it will effect the whole world. We can only hope for a miracle to change the events of past years.

I don't altogether agree with either candidates Shirley; let's just say that I am going to vote for the lessor (in my humble opinion) of two evils. LOL!

You know I voted and I'm even wondering if its worth it to take it in to be counted. Here we are in the economic crisis and the firefighter's want an raise, we havent' haven't had an raise in YEARS,,but they want a raise. Gesh!...I could go on and on, your right maybe the lesser of two evils would be not to vote at all, but then I think we'd be playing into the hands that want to destroy us.

I keep thinking of an old song we sang in choir as kids, and I don't remeber the whole thing,..."when you walk in the rain, hold your head up high..and don't be afraid of the dark",..must of been popular in the 50's sometime..any of you remember it? .
