I'm doing okay. Been really busy with random stuff going on, and wasn't feeling well for a few days. Seem to be okay for now. :)

How is everyone?

I just had 5 hours in emergency the other day, with my heart monitored, the blood draw, the urine samples, and an Cat Scan....they think I have an acute something to truther, it amounts to an inflmation fo the colon from eating seeds. Yes, I've been hitting the Boysenberry  Jam and peanut butter toast lately. I understand it's not an uncommmon aliment as you age. Gesh! Put me on anti-biotics..couldn' t be an an worse time with Thanksgiving coming up. But special diet to wash out my system for two days and then it changes again...with more fiber and NO SEEDS in it. I can remeber when my old neighbor had this problem also, her's was "nuts" though, not seeds. At least the contractions have stopped and the low fever and headache is going away..so back to "rest" a bit more..I have an dinner to cook coming up.

Hope you're feeling better, Shirley.  Don't knock yourself out, Thursday.  Put your feet up and let some of the kids and grankids make dinner.  You'll be in my prayers.

I am exhausted - spent most of the night awake as Solomon came in and was trying to stop him scratching (the Chicken Pox!) Now I have to face the mountain of tax returns and look after him as well as get the others to school. The joys!

Shirley - sorry to here that - have a good rest and don't overdo it.

Rick - glad you are back!

James, Cathy and Ruth - good to see you.

Stephanie, I feel for you, really I do, two of my boys came down with chicken pox at the same time while I was heavily pregnant with the third, what a nightmare. I hope Solomon is soon feeling better, plenty of calamine lotion to stop the itching and sea salt baths help also. You take care of yourself as well Stephanie, we don’t want you getting ill.

I am feeling ok today, I managed to get a full nights sleep. My hubby came down with a nasty bout of bronchitis last week and was really poorly over the week end, the wheezing, coughing and worry kept me awake for most of fri, sat and Sunday night, I almost called the Ambulance sat night when he couldn't get his breath but thankfully the meds are kicking in and he seems a bit better and last night I slept. Funny really, I class myself as quite a good carer but when it comes to my own family being ill I tend to go to pieces.
