Now where can I find these trees??? Innocent

Believe it or not, Krissy, it's a parasite plant.  It grows on other trees.

But I think the tradition of the Christmas love plant goes back ages.

I started an new "custom" about three years ago, during "Midnight Mass" on TV at the Vatican, when the Pope, leads everyone into "prayer" that night, I light my four "healing"candles, as I also light them during the year in special healings and world healings as well..when I feel things are getting rather stressful. I generally don't say to much about them through the year though..just light them when I feel it appropriate to do so... but every year the old candle lit gives way to an new candle..four of them. I just got in my e-mail an video of old times and "winter season" at an farm and kids playing in the snow...done very nicely...some people are so talented on the internet in what they can create. I'm giving away as gifts this year two digital camera's that are pc compatible, in hopes I can get some different avatars posted this coming yesr.  I like to hear about the dressing the horse in PJ's..because people are really into dressing animals up these days...and I rather like the muppets.."Miss Piggy" whom I dressed up (stuffed toy) and made into an real "vamp" of an looking gal one year.

Shirley, is there a certain type of candle you use for the healing? Or a particular color?

And I love the Muppets!! I miss watching them on TV!

I worked for an Holly Farm, two season's we use to send the weaths back east to New York City and Macy's for Chirstmas. We had round rings with like staples inan U-shape, and when we put in the buches of Holly we'd push an peddle and it would close the staplesacross each other, our wreaths were  dark greenHolly wth varigated on top and every other bundle was clusters of red berries...and then we dipped them in presevative and shipped them off by rail-ail car. We made two huge, really big ones for the store front back then. It was an 10 hour-six day a week job for from mid-October to the second week of December.
