I think Mick is correct, that "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker" perhaps...but if your on prescription meds there's not an lot of liquor you can drink. If you don't have the slippers, take an towel to your microwave and heat it up and wrap it around your feet, and then an small blanket, and see if that helps any. At least until someone comes to your rescue with slippers. Handwarmers might keep existing slippers warmer for longer and if they are hard soles, you might be able to wear them outside. Put socks between them and you...in the shoes. Good luck with it all. |
