Great advice Roy   .

As a tee-totaller I'll apply the whiskey to the feet. Oh I know, a whiskey foot bath       .

Oh dear! I've just watched the news and they forecast 9 º F tomorrow morning. This doesn't bode well for my poor tootsies.

Sue, I think you're going to need a really good pair of insulated boots to wear outside. And a few layers of warm socks.

Those microwave slippers sound great.

Sue.also try some fish oil tablets, they might help to loosen stiffness...at least they say it's good for authritis problems when the weather changes. I think Mick is correct, that "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker" perhaps...but if your on prescription meds there's not an lot of liquor you can drink. If you don't have the slippers, take an towel to your microwave and heat it up and wrap it around your feet, and then an small blanket, and see if that helps any. At least until someone comes to your rescue with slippers. Handwarmers might keep existing slippers warmer for longer and if they are hard soles, you might be able to wear them outside. Put socks between them and you...in the shoes. Good luck with it all.

Thank you Shirley. I tried fish oil tablets once and burped fish all day so I threw them away.

As for liquor, I'm a tee-totaler so no liquor for me.

You have all been so sweet.
