This Christmas will be the first one at home for a few years. Because we usualy go away for Christmas, we gave all our decorations away. I just hope we still have a few in the attic cos we cant afford to buy any now. Lol |

Our house is usually a Christmas grotto - full of decorations etc! We haven't got going yet this year - with Sol being in hospital and now the others being ill! |

I remind myself that we are actually in the season of Advent and many don't put up their tree until Christmas eve and then take it down after the Christmas season ends on Epiphany. So you see, you have plenty of time! |

Second year in a row she does that. She was never much of a Christmas person, not half as much as I am. Gosh I love buying and giving away gifts I know people will enjoy, sending Christmas cards, wrapping gifts... All my Christmas decorations are now in place. |

I go tthe batteries fo rthe "Le Max" Chirstmas Village so it's trees are lite up and twinkling now....our main tree is the biggest, and it's about 10 foot tall or so, we have cathederal ceilings in my livingroom...the rest are smal trees, almost like room night lights with an twinkle to them, The grand-daughter has her lime green gree with pink and purpel decorations, the grandson has an silver with with lights and blue an dtourquoise decorations, th eother grandson is the oneiwth the "Batman" bedroom, he's got multi-colored lights with gold and blue bulbs and Batman cookies (I was waiting for when shcool vacation is out for doing them), my downstairs has muliple lights with all colored bulbs and "bubble" lights and red garland, it sits on the end of the L-shaped shelf I made for the "Le Max"Chirstmas village,my kids have an muti-colord tree with mainly red bulbs on it...these trees are mostly in the bedrooms and are table toppers. I've been collecting them after Chirstmas on the sales for years now. The grandson that has not the Batman bedroom, with the sliver tree, has two small lighted snowmen that surround his tree. As for the Black tree, I actually saw an bedroom done with one of them, in white lights, gray wall, turquiose and touches of red...such as red bulb on the tree also with the white lights. It didnt' look to bad, I think the fireplace in the room helped things along, and he used black and white family photo's on the walls. Red pillow sleigh bed also. Three of the walls were painted tuquiose as was the fireside chairs for sitting. Carpeting. It looked better then I thought it would. lamps were in modern silver color. Throw rugs in black. Hard to describe. HGTV over here, home an garden channel, it's on cable. Can't remeber it in detail right now.
