New Year's is coming up fast, down come the decorations and up go the Valentine's Day...so where are your most romantic spots?......I have apparently someone in our area that has an new laptop wireless computer, and it's trying to bug in on ours, this is about the time the Christmas gadgets are hooked up you know, but it's interferring with me getting online also..when I do things are moving massively slow despite it saying we have an strong signal incoming. May have to bear with me not in here as much until this person gets his computer straightened out..as I was just telling Roses also. I now have 5 pairs of new jeans in an smaller size also..but that's on going fron now on out I guess...living my diet I think they call it. Plus I hope to work on my avatar, and I look forward to the new "story/picture" feature our web master's are introducing. snow is almost gone, the warm heavy rains upand made most of it disappear last night...people are once again out and about. What are your plans for the upcoming several months of the New Year?..have any?

I don't need to make any New Years resolutions, I've still got the same ones I've had for the last 10 years, I'll just keep on working on them.

I figure I'm 50, diets are a thing of the past. I would like to strive to live a little healthier life style though so.

Oh, and I was awful about sending out birthday cards last year, so a new goal is to get them ready in in the new year and get them out.

I plan to get my computer going faster. I may also try to stop smoking, but as its the only enjoyment I have, it will be hard. So maybe not.

I dont drink,I dont smoke,I dont go out with other women. My only vice is,-------I tell lies. He he he.

Peter, I think you just wanted us to be triple sure we understood that you tell lies.

I hope you do give up smoking, it's got to be better for your old bags of air.

I have to get out and do more things , walk more take photographs, go fishing and enjoy life more. I have given up the smokes Pete, but as yet I don't know if I feel better or not. It must eventually help me to be healthier and once I get a few things fixed up, I don't intend going backwards even if it means a bit less time on the computer.

Wolf is correct, it you do things today the way you did them yesterday, tomarrow,.... you will have the same thing as you do today.  If you don' t like what was today, then you have to change a bit. Stephanie sounds like she needs to be an area of the "smart car" program...where anyone that buys an "pass".... can use any smart car parked out front...they all look the same, you just get in one, insert your card and take off..they are all-electric also. they just installed downtown meter like "chargers" for them. Look them up on the net Stepahanie to see what I'm talking about..most your big cities have them on the west coast.  Computers have always been an headache for me, I'm on number 3 right now...and having problems on it also. Being able to enjoy life would be something nice...living comfortable.also. Having friends that are just friends and not always "business" also would be nice. I lost my best "thinker" and traveler friend someyears ago to Cancer...so I have no one to talk to in ways. We use to laugh an lot...about some things I can not say though, but she made me "think" also. Was always doing something. Never forgot me. We could spend hours talking, and yet lived complete different lives. they say that you often are drawn to the people you admire, because they have talents in them, that you have in yourself...even though you might not think so. My hubby is not an "talker", he is an "doer"and that's what he spends most of his life having acomplished...doing for others, though I think here lately he's wanting to have some freedom for hmself in ways...without having to give everything an everyone up to do it. He has always been trusted with secrets also. There are times I know little about his life. He just never says anything. so he's not the person to discuss things with for the most part. We can go out to dinner and not say an thing to each other all night long. Feb.will be our 43 wedding anniversary...we married young. We could easilysee an 50th year if our health holds out...it should!!!
