Jason T Posts: 7421 Joined: 14th Apr 2004 Location: UK	Posted at 17:04 on 16th January 2009 A few, but if someones drunk they stand a chance of choking on vomit!! so we become social babysitters again!! real life threatenig emergencies have to wait because we're making sure the drunk gets home safe or to hospital where he/she'll be watched over!! theres also the thing with the head injury!! alcohol mimicks head injury, so if they've bumped their head, what else can we do!!! everyones an expert when we roll up outside a pub etc... so nobody wants to overlook anything just in case, the drunk experts become the people trying to sue you the following week!! but like i said, it all comes at the expense of the genuine 60 yr old bloke sitting at home with crushing chest pain while they run a motor from miles away because were dealing with the drunk! but we have to try to treat all equally, are they all equal?? i'm not sure!!
