If I understand your rules correctly Diana, your example is going to end up with hundreds of words if we're allowed to choose any letters we want. Is that what you meant? Undecided

Oh dear; well, you are quite right Paul. Perhaps we should limit it to one word rather than phrases, and all subsequent words made from that one word must be at least three characters...or we could just forget this thread! LOL!

I'll start again with one word:

Example:  Forest

rest
fort
rose
set
test
fret

Maybe this one was a bad idea? LOL!!!

It can yield hundreds of combinations but not of words as but most of them are meaningless, aren't they?
