Well, it certianly changes as you get older from circumstances not of your own perhaps, but I would say doing anything where there is an intimate "closeness" to each other. There's an geniune "happiness" between both people...kind of an "understanding" between them you could call it I guess...that goes beyond communication with others.  Of course I'm not knocking the flowers, the dinner out, what else guys...smiles sweetly*  (Gals.. I once read that guys give "love" to get sex and gals give "sex" to get love ..brutes aren't they...laughs*...best wishes for Valentine's Day!)

Hey your pretty wise aren't you!!  that bit in brackets sounds true!!  like it or not, its probably a fact!!    men and women are different!!

How right you are Jason, and I think that if men and women will try to understand the differences and work with them instead of feeling angry and misunderstood, a lot of couples would be all the happier.

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus is a great book that address this very subject!!!

Truer words have never been spoken!!

I think a romantic evening would consist of a nice dinner in a simple restaurant followed by cuddling at a romantic movie, then home to enjoy a candlelit bubble bath together. Then as you follow him into the bedroom find that there are candles lit everywhere and rose petals all over the bed ..............

I'll let your imaginations finish! Wink

Well, under this tough, brash exterior beats the heart of a hopeless romantic.

The evening woud begin with a late afternoon sail with the love of my life du jour, coming into Newport Harbor as the sun is setting casting the town in an orange halo. Tie up to a mooring at the far end of Brenton Cove under the cliffs, cracking open a bottle of wine and relaxing under the stars of a crystal clear sky.
