I know. Frown I'm going to hope though. My dad always said, he wasn't afraid to fly he was afraid to crash. I've only flown to the Isle of Man and back. A long distance would worry me I think.

I wouldn't like it!! I flew to Florida...only a 2 hour flight...and that was enough for me!!  You put your life into the hands of the pilot and the mechanics!! You just have to trust I guess!

I wasn't scared of flying until I had children, then my whole prospective changed.

As you know, I fly back and forth to England every year, and every bump causes me to worry. I never used to be like that, I used to enjoy it.

You hit the nail on the head Sue!!! Same with me! My oldest flies by herself every so often!! And she was only 12 when she first started!! Dosen't faze her one bit!!! I'll have to take her with me if I ever make it to England!

Its pretty safe, its just when one does crash its usually a lot of people die, so it makes the news!! how many people die in RTC's daily!!!

i use to LOVE to fly.  Flew back here sometimes 2 or 3 times a year, but it seems the older i get the less patience i have for flying....

according to the news stories i have heard so far, no one injured or seriously hurt.

Thank God, everyone, 155 people got out OK, only minor injuries.  That pilot deserves a million dollars, a medal, sainthood, etc.  The latest reports say he walked the length of the plane 3 times to make sure everybody got out.  What an amazing flight crew!
