However, this one was MOST important:It doesn't matter what kind of work you do in your lifetime as long as: 1. It is HONEST work And… 2. You do it the best you can Growing up, I had many jobs; from mucking out stables to my present engineering job. I attacked every job with alacrity. I gave it all I had. The result was more responsibility and promotion. Where promotion was not possible came a glowing recommendation from my boss to my prospective employers. That ALWAYS got me the next position. I've brought up two law abiding kids, who are now adults. My son is in Uni, my daughter hopes to be after this college year is over. I've done something right. I just wish my employers were more thankfull, more generous in my earnings. I don't want something for nothing, just a fair wage for a a fair day's work. But yeah, it is honest work and I really do the best I can. Amen. |
