I'd like to be an interior decorator. I am actually very good at it, but I am not formally trained.

Diana, I have some decorating I need doing....feel free to show me your talent because I'm hopless! Laughing

I wish also I could draw and paint. I look at sunsets and the colour of the trees in the autumn and I would love to put it on paper or canvass. I've tried it but I was terrible at it.

Barb,

Artistic ability is not about how precisely you can copy a landscape, but rather how YOU interpret what your eye sees. Others may judge your work based upon their interpretations, but it is YOUR vision that matters.

Some of the greatest painters of our time have produced some of the most obscure and abstract works. But it was their vision that mattered. The fact that they achieved critical acclaim is based solely upon the critic's assessment of the artist's vision.

When I paint or draw, it is to please me. If others like it, then that's ok too.
