A television programme that I caught the tail end of said, cats don't eat eggs! I find that hard to believe but know very well that our cat loving members on this forum will have the answer. That's the power of POE!

I can't say that any of my cats ever ate eggs.

I think its down to the cat and its circumstances. I'm pretty sure a feral or stray cat would eat an egg. I've seen farm cats eat fried eggs which have been thrown out with English breakfasts for the farm dogs. Although I didn't know whether the egg smelt like sausage as they were cooked together or whether the cat had grown tired of its low cholestral diet.

Diana, Do you have a cat, it occured to me that if you did, you could feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, whilst holding the cat which is warm and fuzzy on the outside, Bliss...

Ian...you said it perfectly, cuddling a cat is bliss. Smile

Alas, I had to have my sweet boy, Merlin, put to sleep last June due to kidney failure. He was 14, and I had had him all but the first eight months of his life.

I know I will have another cat one day, but right now I still miss Merlin and it doesn't feel like the right time.

My Jessie almost heaves at the sight of eggs, yet Tess adores them. I give her one a week, it is supposed to help keep their coat shiney.
